Finger Lakes Health Care Federal Credit Union is a member owned financial institution. We are committed to providing our members with competitive products and services to meet their financial needs.

There have been reports of a phone scam targeting financial institutions across the country. A member may receive a call stating that there are problems with their credit or debit card and to call a toll free number. Callers are then instructed to "Press 1" to reactivate their card. The system then prompts the caller to enter the card number, expiration date and verification code.

This is a scam! FLHC will never contact a member by phone, email or text requesting members to enter confidential information in order to reactivate an account or card.

However, FLHC does have a 24 hour fraud service attached to the Visa credit and debit cards. Members with unusual or out of their normal spending area may receive a phone call to verify such charges.

When in doubt, please contact the credit union directly with any questions.
